Banana Bread with pecans and cranberries

I love Banana bread for a number of reasons:

  • It’s a great way to use up bananas that have gone past their best before date
  • It contains no yeast
  • It is a tasty and relatively healthy treat

I tried banana bread and added in pecans and cranberries. I was amazed at how fabulously delicious the flavor combination is! A bit like a fruit cake but still keeping to the tea time loaf style. I think it is my new favorite!

I have added this wonderful bread to my menu for order. It makes quite a large loaf, but will also sell as a half a loaf (half in height, not in length). This coming Wednesday I will have a special on mini loaves of this (8cm loaves) so that you can try it out if you are unsure about ordering a big one! I guarantee you that if you love these flavors, you won’t be disappointed!
