Recipe: Mango Coconut Smoothie

A Smoothie-a-day for November

I’ve set myself a challenge: Each day in November I plan to make a healthy smoothie, post a photo and a share the recipe on my social media. Here in South Africa, we are still in Spring, with 1 December marking the start of our summer.

Smoothies are such a healthy, easy and delicious way to start the day. A few years ago, when I was struggling with leaky gut, the only thing I could really manage to get down was smoothies. My gut was that damaged that I struggled to eat anything that required too much digestion and by eating less but still trying to cram nutrition and sustenance into a smoothie made it so much easier. Back then I would put protein powder and collagen and all sorts of other things like chia seeds etc into them. So I have a ton of smoothie recipes written down and I’m excited to share them with you.
